Preparation Determines Performance
The finished turf follows the shape and stability of the base beneath it. Soft areas, poor drainage, abrupt grade changes, or weak edges can affect appearance and long-term use. We assess the existing surface, remove unsuitable material as required, establish the intended grades, and build a compacted base suited to the project conditions.
Drainage is considered before the turf is installed. The objective is to direct surface water appropriately and avoid creating low points beside the home, patio, or retaining wall. Every yard is different, so preparation is based on site conditions rather than a one-size-fits-all depth or detail.
